How to care for Anthurium Pterodactyl Variegated
- Light: Bright, indirect light. No direct sun on the leaves, especially for velvet-leaf types.
- Water: Keep the mix lightly moist; water when the top 2–3 cm is dry. Roots rot quickly in dense, wet soil.
- Humidity & temperature: High humidity, ideally 60–80% for velvet-leaf and collector Anthurium. Keep above 16 °C and away from cold drafts.
- Soil: Very airy mix: orchid bark, sphagnum moss and perlite, in a pot with good drainage.
- Note: Contains calcium oxalate; keep away from pets and small children.
