Shipping Info & International Export FAQ
Shipping Information & International Export FAQ
ORAMICIN ships live tropical plants from Indonesia to international buyers using DHL Express. This page combines our shipping information and frequently asked questions about processing time, phytosanitary certificates, export documents, import permits, customs, packing, delivery, and plant condition after international transit.
International Live Plant Shipping
Each live plant order is prepared carefully for export. ORAMICIN uses secure live plant packaging to help protect roots, leaves, and overall plant condition during international transit.
Because we ship live tropical plants from Indonesia, every order requires preparation before it can be handed over to DHL Express.
Processing Time Before Shipment
Before shipment, live plant orders require plant preparation, export document processing, phytosanitary certificate arrangement, and plant quarantine or export inspection when required.
Processing time usually takes around 7–14 working days before the package is handed over to DHL Express. Processing time may vary depending on plant condition, inspection schedule, document processing, holidays, and destination-country requirements.
DHL Express Transit Time
Estimated DHL Express transit time is usually around 5–6 days to the United States and around 8–10 days to many other countries. Customs clearance, inspection, weather, holidays, courier movement, and local delivery conditions may affect the final delivery time.
ORAMICIN does not control customs inspection, carrier delays, weather disruption, public holidays, or destination-country import decisions after the shipment has been handed over to DHL Express.

Some countries may have stricter live plant import rules, special permit requirements, or restrictions for certain plant species. Please check with your local authority before ordering.

US buyers may need APHIS import permits or permit exemptions depending on plant species and import requirements. For more details, please read our US import guide:

Live Plant Shipping Stress
Live plants may experience shipping stress during international transit. Minor cosmetic damage, yellowing leaves, soft leaves, bent leaves, leaf marks, or temporary stress may occur. This is common for live plants and usually improves after acclimation.
Please allow your plant time to recover after arrival. Keep it in bright indirect light, avoid direct sun, maintain humidity, and avoid heavy repotting immediately after delivery unless necessary.
After Receiving Your Plant
- Unpack the plant carefully as soon as possible.
- Check the roots, leaves, and stem condition.
- Place the plant in bright indirect light.
- Avoid direct sunlight immediately after shipping.
- Maintain humidity and a stable temperature.
- Allow the plant to acclimate before repotting or fertilizing.
If There Is a Significant Arrival Issue
If your plant arrives dead or severely damaged, please contact ORAMICIN within 24 hours after delivery with clear photos or video of the plant, roots, packaging, and shipping label for review.
Please do not discard the plant or packaging before contacting us. Each case is reviewed using delivery time, tracking information, plant condition, and the evidence provided.
